10月13日 Visiting USA with my family -- Oct. 2005发现3年前全家美国旅行的日记，赶快贴上来，恐怕时间长了再也找不到它了。
Visiting USA with my family — Oct. 2005
Our first stop in South California of USA was Los Angeles. In LA with my family of wife and son, we attended LA County Fair which has been held once a year for lasting 20 days and thousands of thousands locals and foreigners visit this famous fair every year. The fair was so huge that the government needed to offer 8 car parks which can contain over 10,000 various cars and vehicles at one time. Then we spent two days to visit the Disney Land and the Universal Studio in Holley Wood. We ranted a nice car of "G" which was only used for about 12,500 mile and drove about 280 miles to San Diego from LA to visit Study Group Embassy CES centre (an English learning centre) there and we were welcomed by the head director of the centre. San Diego is a very, very beautiful resort city and travel around LA and San Diego by driving a car was a sensational fun itself! Along the way to San Diego from LA, we spent two days to visit 2 would famous children fun places, Sea World Park and the Lego Land which my four and half years old son enjoined so much. But for me it was an exhausted trip. I needed to drive the car while read out the map together with my wife at same time, and in the parks I also needed to watch at the little but naughty boy but I loved to do so! We visited the USA navy base of Seventh Fleet in San Diego where we even boarded on the "Midway" aircraft carrier! This remarkable and large warship was retired in 2003 after its military servise for over 60 years and we saw nearly all kinds of the USA navy's jet fighters and helicopters which were exhibited on the "Midway" included in the famous “Top Gun” of F18! The only problem was that my son was too exciting during the days so that he could not sleep at the nights but talking and talking with his mom and I till 12am in midnight.
After one week we spend in South California, my wife and son came back from LA to Shanghai while I flow into New York City there I visited some freinds of mine there and got a warm welcome as well as a good training about the US overseas study business. I discussed with them about Private High School Programs, Community College Programs and University Program Placement. I also visited Long Island University and the University of Arts in Philadelphia, and I believe that benefits to my future career very much. As it was a business trip in NY City, I had a little time for sightseeing, but I still managed to visit China Town, the Time Square, the Empire State Building, the NY State Library and the Broadway.
It was a fabulous experience of travelling in USA and we would like to visit this great country again sometime late!
